We are delighted to present our first community project in a series of photos captured by Frans Parthesius and some ´behind the scenes’ shots for a glimpse of the photoshoot.

La Cubanita turns an urban insula into a vibrant, other-worldly destination, fusing together the Eastern heritage of the owners and the Cuban theme of the bar. Asian neon lights, sleek bamboo floors and exotic Latin American colours create a juncture reflected in the multicultural atmosphere of the venue.

It’s hard not to appreciate the brutalist aspect of the process, the raw, unfinished and the sense of monumentality given by leaving the materials exposed.
