La Cubanita completed

The extension of La Bodeguita Del Medio, baptized La Cubanita, redevelops the enclosed heart of a densely urban block in Kortrijk. Designed as a box in a box, the project changes the remaining space of the plot into a new layer of the palimpsest, completely isolated, physically and acoustically, from its environment.

As soon as one enters the room, the colours, the music and the materials alienate the visitor from his context.
